The initial partnership during PhysisTech's early days involved proving the properties of algal bioplastic as a new biofabric. This work was a collaboration with designer Tina Corton (@tinacorton), who focused on the model design for the new biofabric. The resulting biofabric is a biodegradable and organic mix of pure silk tulle and algal bioplastic, which creates properties of flexibility and elasticity.
